Ugggg... Potty Training...

So we are still going at the potty training with Hunter. It is improving, sort of. Yesterday it was three pees and a poo and then today just one pee and a poo. Yes, I know, you didn't come to the blog to read about pee and poo! Ah well- you will have just deal with it!

He now refuses to wear clothing in our house. If you drop in you will most definitely see a bare ass running around the house at lightening speed loudly proclaiming, "No Pee Mommy!" Uh huh... he says he doesn't have to pee and then 30 seconds later he whizzes all over my floor, does a little dance in it and then takes off running again! Little turd.

At least the floors are easy to clean, but the sofas are another story. While we did buy them just a year and a half ago brand new, I am already looking forward to purchasing new ones. But I guess there is no point in that until Cavan is out of diapers as well.

I think we might try the m&m or smartie deal here soon... although I feel like we will be the suckers in the end of that one. Should be interesting!

At least with boys you can play "sink the toilet paper".

i'll give you a tip, once he says "pee", bring him straight to the potty, kids are amazing in holding it. you might want to invent a sign language for potty or even ask him if he needs to potty. ben will say no if he dont need too and if he wants too, he says potty.

when ben says potty, he sprinkles a little, though sometimes a lot depending on days really and i put him directly on the potty and he continues to pee. i do this so he gets the idea. i also tend to put him on it every 15 minutes or so and since he has a poop schedule, he tends to poop just before naptime, i havent clean a diaper poop in a while which i know its fantastic!

p/s - yes this kid wont leave his pants on, its bare naked ass here as well.

We made a sticker chart for the wall, went out and got some cute Thomas the train stickers. Every pee was one sticker a poop was two. Worked awesome for us! we tried the chocolate thing but didn't work for us!

It'll come Kara...Paige was up and down for a bit, and then just seemed to get it one day and has been great ever since. And for a couple of weeks, we had 'naked time' at our house too....you should have seen some people's faces when they walked in!!! (usually the ones that don't have kids!)

boys do have fun with it but number two is the problem...I finally came a across a system called the original potty prize grab bag. amazing how this system worked in just a few days and we both had fun doing it. I highly recommend it / www.pot-teeprize.com

I feel for you. I asked my boy if he needed to go, he said no and then tried to grunt a log onto the floor.

I hope yours decides to use the potty sooner rather than later!
